The process

If you agree with the treatment plan, it can be scheduled, possibly immediately after the consultation.
The treatment
Every injectable treatment starts with thorough cleansing and disinfection of the skin. Then, the cosmetic physician marks the injection points based on the treatment plan. The filler is injected using a needle or a blunt cannula, depending on the treatment area and your skin type. After the filler is injected, the area is gently massaged to ensure proper distribution. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions to maximize the longevity of the treatment. On average, a scar filler treatment takes about 45 minutes, including the consultation.
Aftercare
There is no downtime after a filler treatment, and you can resume your daily activities. However, your skin may be slightly red and sensitive due to the injections. In some cases, small bruising may occur, which usually resolves within a few days. During the first week after the treatment, avoid activities such as visiting the gym, using tanning beds, or going to the sauna. Wait at least two weeks before visiting a beautician. UV radiation can potentially damage the treated skin, so it’s important to minimize sun exposure and always apply a sunscreen with at least SPF 30. Using a nourishing scar cream can help expedite the healing process after an injectable treatment.
Duration of Results
The results of a filler treatment typically last between six to twelve months. The body naturally metabolizes the fillers over time. The duration of the effect varies from person to person and depends on factors such as skin type and lifestyle.
