The treatment
Every injectable treatment starts with thorough cleansing and disinfection of the skin. The cosmetic physician then marks the injection points based on the treatment plan. The filler is injected using a needle or a blunt cannula, depending on the treatment area and your skin type. After injecting the fillers, the area is gently massaged to ensure proper distribution. Aftercare
There is no recovery time required after a filler treatment. You can resume your daily activities immediately. However, your skin may appear slightly red and sensitive due to the injections. In some cases, small bruises may occur after a filler treatment, which typically fade within a few days. Avoid visiting the gym, tanning beds, or saunas during the first week after the treatment. Wait at least two weeks before visiting a beautician. UV radiation can accelerate skin damage in the treated area, so it is essential to minimize sun exposure and always apply a sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30. Applying a nourishing (scar) cream can speed up the skin’s recovery after an injectable treatment.
How Long Does the Result Last?
The results of a filler treatment are typically visible for six to twelve months. The body naturally breaks down the fillers over time. The duration of the effect varies per individual and depends on factors such as your skin type and lifestyle. If desired, a follow-up treatment can be arranged.
