The process
At Ageworth, a bunny line treatment always begins with a personal consultation to discuss your needs and desires with our doctors. It’s possible that not only bunny lines but also wrinkles further down (marionette lines) may be contributing to an aged appearance. The amount of botulinum toxin and the desired outcome are customized based on factors such as your age and appearance, so we can reveal the best version of yourself with botulinum toxin. Once you agree to the treatment plan, we can schedule your treatment, including the intake.
The treatment
Every injectable treatment begins with a thorough cleansing and disinfection of the skin. Then, the cosmetic doctor marks the injection points based on the treatment plan. We use a tiny needle, so the treatment is virtually painless. After the treatment, you’ll receive extensive aftercare tips to help you enjoy your open and youthful look for as long as possible. A bunny line treatment usually takes about 30 minutes, including the consultation.
Aftercare
After a bunny line treatment, you don’t need to recover and can resume your usual activities the same day. However, your skin may be red and sensitive from the injections. To ensure the botulinum toxin is effectively placed, we recommend avoiding lying down, bending, and exercising for the first four hours. Wait at least two weeks before visiting a beautician. UV radiation can damage the treated skin faster, so avoid the sun as much as possible and always use sunscreen with at least SPF 30. A healing, nourishing (scar) cream can help the skin recover more quickly after an injectable treatment.
Duration of Results
The results of a muscle relaxant treatment typically last three to six months. The body naturally breaks down botulinum toxin over time. The duration of the effect varies per person and depends on factors such as your skin type and lifestyle. If desired, a follow-up treatment can be scheduled.
