Every treatment starts with a personal consultation. Your physician will assess the amount of submental fat and the degree of skin laxity. If you’re a suitable candidate, a treatment plan is created to combine targeted liposuction with Renuvion energy-based skin tightening. This synergy allows for both fat reduction and visible firming of the skin in one session.
Under local anesthesia, a small cannula is used to remove excess fat beneath the chin and along the jawline. Immediately after, the Renuvion plasma device is inserted beneath the skin. It delivers a controlled burst of helium plasma and RF (radiofrequency) energy that contracts and tightens the collagen fibers in the deeper skin layers. The procedure takes approximately 60–90 minutes.
